When the Suburbs Color Their Walls
Florence Cosnefroy, Nanterre
At the origin of a work by visual artist Florence Cosnefroy, the creation of a 20 m² mosaic fresco on the facade of the Le Liberté building in Nanterre. This work pays tribute to Jacques Kalisz, the architect of the building constructed in 1976, whose modernist aesthetic inspired the creation. The project is part of a strong heritage and artistic approach, with the reuse of the original Douzies-Maubeuge glass paste, carefully recovered and then integrated into the contemporary composition. The mosaic was installed by the CIDD company. A subtle dialogue between architectural memory and current expression, born from a collaborative effort with the artist.

Guy-Rachel Grataloup, Nantua 2017
The idea of this project was to adapt a work by the painter Guy-Rachel Grataloup, a lover of nature, into a mosaic mural. In total collaboration with the artist, Florence translated his graphic, poetic, and spiritual universe through meticulous work with glass enamels and gold leaf. Located by the Nantua Lake, the mosaic plays with textures, light, water, and the surrounding mountains.

France Mitrofanoff 2016
Interpreting the universe of the painter France Mitrofanoff where the tree and nature are king and queen has been a great pleasure. The adaptation of the expressive and energetic work of the artist into a precise layout and the choice of the multiple colors of the glass pastes were the beginning of the meticulous realization of the four vibrant wall mosaics installed since 2016 in the heart of the Parc de Fan in Lussan in the Gard.
