Background
Graduating from the Duperré School of Applied Arts in 1987, Florence trained with master mosaicist Maurice Bauchet before signing original and ambitious projects in France, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia for ten years. Her journey then took her to Mexico and Argentina, where she collaborated with international artists and enriched her curiosity with new, colorful, and vibrant inspirations.
Back in France, she founded Decomosa with Laurence Desmergers, also a graduate of Duperré. Together, they shared the same passion for mosaics applied to architecture and created unique decorations for ten years, until Laurence moved to the other side of the world in 2013.
Since then, Florence continues to study each project with the same requirement and desire to create, supported by a reliable and competent team.
A Tailor-Made Approach
Every creation begins with attentive listening to clients: Florence imagines, sketches, tests, and adjusts. The preparatory drawings, the choices of colors and materials (glass pastes, stoneware, marble, gold, ceramics...), the scaling, the cutting, and assembly of the tesserae are all steps that transform an idea into a lasting work.
This approach allows for the design of exceptional mosaics for both individuals and professionals — hotels, restaurants, spas, boutiques, cultural venues... Florence works throughout France and often abroad, for projects that are both decorative and architectural, always guided by the pursuit of accuracy, light, and material.
