Mosaic comes into play in places of awakening for young children to bring color, poetry, and a sense of detail. At the Arc-en-Ciel nursery, Florence Berthet Sonsino draws inspiration from the geometric patterns of the N’Debele people of South Africa for a joyful and bright mural. At the Marlène Jobert nursery school, the mosaic courtyard evokes the movement of water, with green and grey waves reflecting in the stainless steel walls, creating a decor that is both calming and dynamic.

The Decomosa workshop is also called upon for the restoration of ancient mosaics, whether in prestigious locations or residential buildings. For the historical agency of Société Générale, we regularly intervene in the incredible vault room to restore the floor mosaics, as part of a large heritage conservation project involving several trades. We have also assisted property managers in replicating the mosaic floor of a building lobby in Saint Mandé, restoring the elegance and fine decor of this reception area to its original state.

The mosaic provides a lasting artistic expression for places of remembrance. In Sologne, a colorful floral bouquet adorns a gravestone, bringing softness and poetry to the tribute paid to the deceased. In Chevreuse, Florence Berthet Sonsino's tribute to the painter Guy-Rachel Grataloup was manifested through the adaptation of one of the artist's canvases into a play of graphic, colorful, and minimalist lines. Each creation is designed custom-made with the loved ones, balancing personal symbolism and the search for harmony, to make the grave a unique and timeless work of art.
